How each 4D bet pays
Straight
A straight bet wins only when your number comes up in exactly that order. Big pays on all 23 prize numbers (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 10 special, 10 consolation); Small pays more but only on the top three.
iBox
iBox spreads one stake across every arrangement of your digits, so any order can win, at a reduced prize. Operators publish these as rounded tables rather than a straight division: on Magnum’s table an RM1 Big iBox on 1234 (24 arrangements) pays RM105 on 1st prize, while 1112 (4 arrangements) pays RM625.
Box (all arrangements)
Box buys each arrangement as its own straight bet. Every arrangement can win the full prize, but the ticket costs your stake times the number of arrangements, so RM1 on 1234 costs RM24.
Magnum 4D, Sports Toto, Da Ma Cai and East Malaysia’s Sabah 88, STC and CashSweep all pay the same 4D rates, so the Malaysia option covers all six. Grand Dragon pays more on 1st prize (RM2,900 Big, RM3,900 Small) but less on Starter (RM200).
Singapore Pools
Singapore Pools pays S$2,000 / S$1,000 / S$490 on the top three for Big and S$3,000 / S$2,000 / S$800 for Small, plus S$250 Starter and S$60 Consolation on Big. Its iBet is not a simple division: Singapore Pools publishes its own table, so an S$1 Big iBet on 1122 pays S$335 on 1st prize, not S$333.33.
