Big vs Small — which pays more?
Big spreads the same stake across every prize tier, so a winning number can pay on any of them. Small pays more on 1st, 2nd and 3rd but nothing below that, so it wins less often for a larger amount. Neither is better in general; they are different risk profiles on the same draw.
